Great. Interesting. Helpful. Accessible. Well-stocked.
This pattern is a wonderful blend of old world charm with modern functionality. So easy to follow, and weaves up quickly!
I am so looking forward to working with the new yarns that I ordered from Gist. What fun to have new yarns to play with. I can't wait to get them on the loom.
And so, so generous! I can't think of any other fiber business that offers the pattern -- even if you don't buy the preferred yarn! Sarah -- and her products -- are to be applauded -- and her blog is sooooo relatable! Kudos to Sarah!
I haven't woven these yet, but I've translated the .pdf draft into weaving software, and reduced the width to kitchen towel width (total 441 threads) - and I'm anxious to put draft and yarn together! I'll use 8/2 Cotolin (or perhaps 8/2 unmercerized cotton), sett at 20 epi, and I suspect the results, with a combination of plain weave and "textured" will result in a terrific set of towels! Now... to choose color... hmmmm.... Thanks for the draft!
