You will need to be familiar with the basics of color theory and be comfortable with terms like hue, intensity, value, complementary palettes, analogous palettes, tints, tones, and shades to be able to follow the course. If these terms are new to you, we recommend purchasing the bundle with the Color Theory 101 course, which covers the fundamentals of color theory that underpin the Palette Scout deck.
Yes, you will need a Palette Scout deck to complete the exercises in the course. You can either purchase a bundle that includes Palette Scout ($10 savings), or one that includes Palette Scout and Color Theory 101 ($29 savings).
The course is a series of 8 videos, taught by Gist founder Sarah Resnick. Along the way you'll have a chance to put the principles into practice by completing exercises with your Palette Scout deck.
