Through a strange set of events, a loom my daughter found in her state that was intended for me ended up staying with her! Shipping was insane! So, she rehabbed a lovely LeClerc four harness and I got to "play" with it when I visited! For Christmas, she found me a rigid heddle loom that while still needing to be shipped was far less difficult (and expensive!). She had introduced me to Gist as a source of fiber, patterns, etc., and since she was so happy with the items she had already purchased a gift card was the perfect holiday gift! The order was placed before the end of the day! Beautiful products!
My BFF got a loom for Christmas, then she got hospitalized with Covid pneumonia, recovered and retired… all in 2 weeks time. I wanted to get her a very special retirement gift but since we can’t see each other nor can she go shopping…. GIST Yarn to the rescue! I looked a the website and knew right away, this was a perfect gift for her. She has appreciated the support with the blog and patterns and ordered her first batch of yarn to start a new project. Happy that GIST was there for me and her. I'm excited to see her later this Spring and see what she is weaving.
