Checked Twill TowelsDesigned by Elizabeth Springett
These cotton towels feature warp and weft stripes, along with a twill structure that changes direction within each block, to create a distinctive check pattern. These towels were my first twill project (and first ‘real’ project) on a multi shaft loom. Written very clearly, and easy to follow. Beam is a beautiful yarn to weave with.
I had fun doing these towels. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I used an 8/2 cotton yarn of colors Sage, Royal Blue and Periwinkle.
Very clear and easy to follow. Love the finished product!
I Like the pattern very much. It Is good explained (even for m'y poor English, sorry).
I changed the color to green-yellow-gold.
It looks very like springflowers.
I used similar colors to weave this pattern and my towels are beautiful, absolutely love this twill pattern!
