A little challenge for a beginner

I am working on this now. So far so good! Very well written, directions are very clear, I have just threaded the heddles and hope to dress the reed tomorrow! I’ll keep you posted!

I like the pattern. As a new weaver, I was confused with step 2...It said (2. Begin the first towel by weaving a 1 1/2” plain weave hem)..I could not get a total plain weave because of the threading (there was a break in the threading, ie 1,2,3,4 x 5 then 2,1, then 4,3,2,1 x 4, then 4,3).. mostly plain weave but not totally,,A statement to that issue would help a new person

My first twill project

These towels were my first twill project (and first ‘real’ project) on a multi shaft loom. Written very clearly, and easy to follow. Beam is a beautiful yarn to weave with.

I had fun doing these towels. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I used an 8/2 cotton yarn of colors Sage, Royal Blue and Periwinkle.
