It’s been a challenge

I don’t think that I would use this yarn the first time out on a loom. The end product is great - but my inexperience made the project more challenging than I had predicted. Warping on a 12 dent reed with a yarn that isn’t as forgiving as wool was an eye opener. That said - the best lessons come from making and correcting mistakes. My second warping with the yarn was much easier -No, if I could only master the apron paper. keeping it flat and straight!!!

Vibrant colors. easy to worj with

The Beam 3/2 cotton came in wonderful color, including higiscus and natural. I made two running stitch towels and just loved them. Love how soft they were after wet finishing.

Great yarn for weaving

I ordered several cones of varying colors and immediately warped my loom for kitchen towels as a gift. The cotton was easy to work with and created luxurious towels, soft to the touch and a beautiful drape. My friend enjoyed her new towels. My daughter begged for her own set, so I am back at my loom and happy to know I will love creating something my daughter will love.
