Droppdräll, the Swedish term for Bronson Lace, is applied to this towel to create a whole lot of texture. Order a kit.
This pattern has just enough complexity to be fun but is not challenging. I am getting near the end though and am not sure if the colors are correct? It starts with yarn b (cream) plain weave, then pattern, then yarn A (brick) plain weave, then pattern. But in the other end it ends with yarn B plain the pattern then A plain weave. Meaning it would be asymmetrical and end with a chunk of red not cream. There’s no photos of the full finished product so I’m not sure that is the intention? Having fun with this though.
I have not had an opportunity to work with this pattern yet, however it appears to be clear, concise, and well written. I cannot wait to get this onto my loom.
As always the service and assistance was great. Gist yarns is becoming my favorite shop
If you want something different for your towels, this one is very nice
