Handspun Tapestry Wool
This wool tapestry yarn is handspun in small quantities by a worker's cooperative in Morocco, and then hand-dyed in dynamic and unusual colors. The Anou Cooperative is a a group of Moroccan wool spinners and rug weavers who are working together to rebuild their domestic supply chain for locally handspun and hand-dyed materials. They primarily spin yarn for their collective's own weaving projects, and we are proud to be working with them as the only shop in North America to carry this yarn.
These huge skeins are approximately 7 ounces and have about 90 yards. Expect a thick, handspun, surprisingly soft, rustic yarn.
