Array wool yarn

Using this yarn for small tapestry weaving. I use 3 strands together for my 8 dpi project. I like all the gradient colors. I mix strands of different colors together to get even more color gradients and shades.

My favorite tapestry yarn

I’ve been weaving small tapestries for a couple of years and tried a variety of yarns, but now almost always use Array. It is wonderfully smooth and comes in an amazing range of colors including gradations of each hue. I bundle three together (at 8 EPI) so I can blend and always get the perfect colors for anything I want to weave.

Array and Rebecca Mezoff Tapestry classes

I’ve been taking Rebecca Mezoff’s tapestry classes online and the collaboration with Gist and really enjoying using the Array yarn. I’ve tried some other yarns but always come back to the Array. The ability to color blend, and make weft bundles is wonderful. And when comparing yardage with cost/yard and other yarns, Array is well priced.
