Diversified Plain Weave is a sturdy structure that allows a weaver 6 different pattern blocks with two tie-down threads on an 8-shaft loom. This means there are over 1000 pattern tie-ups for a single warp, granting an impressive amount of creative power! These two scarves each have unique designs while living on the same warp and using the same treadling. A simple tie-up and weft color change creates their differing motifs. The structure yields a completely reversible fabric, as well, so the wearer can choose their favorite side. Order a kit.
