Array is our 2/12 worsted spun wool yarn. Made from wool grown on ranches out West (primarily Corriedale and Columbia sheep), and spun and dyed in North Carolina. It is 2-ply, thin (3,360 yards per lb), and hardy.
I’m a beginning tapestry weaver learning from Rebecca Mezoff. The Array yarn colors are gorgeous and plentiful. Wanted to try them and see how they preformed. Once you get use to weaving with a different kind of yarn the end product looked great.
I bought a few fall colors of Array wool yarn to use in weaving and tapestry. I haven't got it on the loom yet, but am looking forward to using it. The colors are wonderful and the feel is delightful.
I bought several cones of Array to use for Rebecca Mezoff’s Intro to Tapestry course. I’ve used it on two small projects and am very pleased with Array. It has a great hand-feel and the colors are beautiful. Looking forward to many projects to come!
sturdy and strong. Need to use several strands to avoid lice
