    Soft Color-and-Weave towels in two contrasting shades of Mallo Cotton Slub. Order a kit.

    Pattern downloads include files for both rigid heddle and shaft loom weaving. Yardage requirements vary based upon the loom.

    • Rigid heddle or 4-shaft loom
    • 54 heddles per shaft for 4-shaft loom
    • 12-dent reed
    • 2 boat shuttles + bobbins or 2 stick shuttles

    Warp: Mallo Cotton Slub, 300-335 yds Eclipse, 240-270 yds Icicle.

    Weft: Mallo Cotton Slub, 290 yds Eclipse, 170 yds Icicle.

    Great, but….

    Loved the pattern and yarn. But, strongly recommend directions be altered to recommend fringe only versus hemming. Perhaps an experienced weaver would have know in advance that the woven fabric would make a very bulky hem, but I was not. Plus, I think the fringe would have been more attractive and less work. Good lesson, but don’t think others need to learn this.
