A pair of striped towels woven with Duet Cotton/Linen. The colorful warp is contrasted by a bright white weft, giving the towels a sun-washed appearance. Order a kit.
Great yarn site!
If you run out of warp on your weaving of a pattern and want to do the same pattern with perhaps a different colours, tie on to the back threads and then rewind. Saves a great deal of time. You don't have to rethread the heddles or the reed. Anne McKenzie
These towels turned out really great. They're a bit smaller than other towels I've made from Gist but that's OK as long as you know what to expect. Gist's customer service is outstanding for this newby weaver. They have quickly answered every question I had no matter how basic.
These towels were a quick and easy rigid heddle project with bright and cheery colors. I made a set of them for a friend who was feeling down with the “Pandemic Lockdown Blues”. She really liked them. I’m planning to make more for gifting.
