Yarn in kit not a good choice

As others have noted, the pattern all but disappeared after wet finishing. The cotton linen blend is too stiff; no drape at all in the finished product. Sort of like wearing a paper towel. Very disappointed.

Wider skips

Skipped Dents is one of my favourite patterns. For a wider skipped area, I have skipped up to 3 dent/holes three times, for 3 equally spaced "columns"
Works well with plain weave, brooks bouquet and leno.

Beautiful result on my first project!

Love this yarn and the pattern/instructions were easy for this newbie! Proud and delighted! Love Gist!

Holly scarf!

I changed the patten a litle, by inserting sticks (the same witdh as the wooden areas), to make a wrap that was even lighter. We will see what happens when I finish and remove the sticks....I am always experimenting when I weave something!

Skip Dent Scarf

The skips were very visible on the loom but barely visible after finishing. If I make it again I’d leave more space between the dents or let the scarf soak without agitating. That said, I love my scarf. The rust color in the Duet yarn is so beautiful and the width and length are perfect for a summer scarf.
