Juxtaposition Scarf

Juxtaposition Scarf

Designed by Jennifer E. Kwong

This design celebrates the versatility of Plain Weave and the contrast of alternating thick and thin yarns. Although the pattern can be woven on any loom with at least two shafts, a rigid heddle loom is ideal because of the option to use the direct warping method. Order a kit.

Gorgeous design

I loved working with this pattern and the resulting scarf looks very impressive. I am a beginning weaver and it took me a bit to figure out the warp, but once I did, it wove up nicely with the Ode and Array. This was a gift for my mom, and both my parents are now so amazed at my weaving skills! I used the Ode Obsidian, Array Black 1 & 5, and Ocean 1 to match my mom’s winter coat. I plan to weave another one for myself in the burgundy palette!
