This stunning striped bathmat is an excellent project for weavers ready to advance beyond basic Plain Weave patterns. The substantial warp and weft create a beautiful ribbed effect, while the distinctive bars and stripes come from alternating colors in specific sections of the warp. Thick weft picks make this a quick weave. Order a kit.

Lovely pattern

I fell in love with the Rigid Heddle version of this project. I wove 3 mats in 3 weeks on repeat! This 4 shaft version has taken me so much longer to complete but the results are closer to the pattern specs — ppi easy to achieve on my counter balance loom. So it is a trade off… super quick and easy on rigid heddle but with a ppi around 10.
