This cotton blanket is woven with a pick-up stick in a Windowpane pattern. The warp and weft floats closely resemble waffle weave. Order a kit.
I just finished this first project with pick up sticks and LOVE it. The Mallo is so soft. The pattern is very clear. I will definitely make more- will be my go to baby gift!!
I wanted to practice with the yarn that I have before doing a project I really like. This was a great instruction to pick up sticks. I also like that I could see what a different yarn would look like. The instructions were very clear and I was able to adapt it easily.
I think this pattern would make a nice stole with the appropriate yarn.
Can't wait to get it made.
