Hacéis un trabajo maravilloso. Es una pena vivir tan lejos y no poder disfrutar de estos hilos y estos colores preciosos
my next project is a table runner with this pattern
This pattern was easy to obtain. Just downloaded the PDF and then opened it. I am very excited to start on it.
I recently completed this kit. The pattern is very well done and easy to follow. The Mallo is wonderful yarn to work with. I have used pickup sticks in weaving patterns before; the pattern sequence easily became a rhythm for weaving. To stitch the 2 panels together, I did Figure 8 (AKA mattress stitch if you're also a knitter) using the Mallo yarn. The seam is barely visible. The blanket turned out very well.
I loved weaving this beautiful and soft blanket. The waffle pattern is simple to weave with a lovely result. My only complaint is that the pattern calls for a 4.5-yard warp. This brings you right up against the 2 cones of yarn, so you really can't afford to do any sampling. At the same time, I had about two feet of usable warp (not including the usual 23" of warp waste my loom requires) left over after finishing the two panels.
