This cotton blanket is woven with a pick-up stick in a windowpane pattern. The warp and weft floats closely resemble waffle weave. Order a kit.
I loved weaving this pattern. The texture is lovely. I found the directions very easy to follow. A nice surprise, something that’s not shown in the pattern picture, is that I liked the back side texture as much as the front!
I am just finishing up my second blanket, and am already making designs on a third after getting a message from a good friend that she is expecting. For each blanket I buy an extra cone and weave three panels instead of two, stitching them together to make a blanket that may be used well into childhood. This is a wonderful, classic design, and new mamas appreciate that it's 100% cotton!
Hi all, I'm pretty new to my RHL (rigid heddle loom) but my pattern on a 10 dent heddle/ reed is coming out not at all like the source photo. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Hacéis un trabajo maravilloso. Es una pena vivir tan lejos y no poder disfrutar de estos hilos y estos colores preciosos
