Introduction to Rug Weaving covers weft-face tapestry techniques for rug weaving. You’ll learn the most important introductory concepts to create curves, eccentric curves, and angles, as well as the technical and finishing skills that make your projects shine. Rebecca will demonstrate these techniques on a tapestry and floor loom.
The kit has such lovely yarn. The amount included is more than enough for the intro to rug weaving course with Rebecca Metzoff, and she gives tips on adjustments of the yarn use to allow for variations in the weaving patterns. As to the course with Rebecca Metzoff, it is the best value for money of any weaving course I’ve ever taken. Upon completion, you will know all the basics of tapestry weaving on a frame loom, and more. Every step is described, and demonstrated in detail, and Rebecca is quickly responsive to questions and comments. I was astonished at how generous Rebecca is with sharing her time and knowledge to teach this class in such detail. I highly recommend this package.
I finally had a free loom so I could warp up to prepare weaving this project. The warping instructions are clear and quite easy to follow. Next step, let's weave!!
