Color Blended Towels
Designed by Deborah Jarchow
These cotton towels are woven with a specific warp and weft color order that gracefully blends three hues of Mallo with a watercolor effect. This pattern includes four variations of color-and-weave in the weft, creating a set that each have their own unique characteristics. Order a kit.

I made the first two of the patterns. Warped the first time using 8/2 doubled cotton but aborted the weaving pretty fast. It did give me an idea of how pretty the pattern was. Tried again using Beam on my rigid heddle and this time was successful. The towels turned out really nicely. It was a fun pattern and not at all boring.
