Expand your weaving repertoire! This subscription box delivers 12 projects in 4 shipments (three projects per box, one box per quarter) from 4 different designers over the course of a year. Each quarter's collection will explore a technique or theme in depth, designed to build your confidence and expertise with your rigid heddle loom.
We have a limited number of spots available. Once we reach capacity, we will release boxes a la carte as inventory allows for the full price of $225/box. Signing up for the subscription will save you $100 over the course of the year.

Deborah Jarchow has designed the third box around Huck Lace, Swedish Lace, and Honeycomb. This box will explore pick-up stick weaving, and will build your comfort and expertise in manipulating warp & weft floats to create distinctive designs. The last Skill Builder box for 2025 will cover innovative Log Cabin variations.
You will need a 24-25” rigid heddle loom, 10 and 12-12.5 dent heddles, 2-3 pick-up sticks, and stick shuttles or boat shuttles and bobbins. One of the boxes will require a loom that can accommodate 2 heddles (most Ashford and Schacht Flip looms do, please contact us if you are unsure) and an extra set of heddles–see our Doubleweave bundle.
Projects will vary in width, with some requiring up to 24" of weaving space and some requiring less. We aren't able to provide instructions for altering each pattern individually, but if you would like to try and downsize them yourself, you're welcome to give it a go! We have general instructions for resizing patterns here.
When you sign up, you will be charged $200. Shipping is free if you’re in the continental US. You will receive the patterns via email, and the corresponding yarn will arrive in the mail. After you sign up, boxes bill quarterly on the 10th of January, April, July and October. Your quarterly charges will begin on the month listed above after you sign up (please note if you sign up in the first 9 days of a quarterly billing cycle you will only be charged at signup and not again on the 10th). Yarn will ship within a few days of your card being charged.
We sure do! Please note that international customers are responsible to pay for all customs and duties your country charges. We strongly encourage you to find one or a few weaving friends in your home country, and to order all together to save on shipping costs and qualify for flat rate shipping! To do this, choose one person to purchase and pay for the subscription, and have them check out with 2 (or more) subscription boxes at one time.
We think you’re going to enjoy it so much you won’t want to! But yes, if you decide this isn’t right for you for any reason, you are welcome to cancel your subscription at any time. Please note before canceling: if we have a waitlist for the subscription, your spot may be offered to someone else and you may not be able to re-subscribe until space is available.

Before joining this subscription, you should: have a few projects under your belt, be able to warp with multiple colors, use pick-up sticks, and use two heddles.
