Designed by Amanda Rataj, adapted and woven by Christine Jablonski

We have long loved this blue wave motif of Amanda Rataj’s Tidal Towels, and have updated the pattern to use Duet Cotton/Linen. We also added an extended “King Tide” version of the wave pattern reminiscent of ocean tides. Order a kit.

Equipment

  • 4-shaft loom
  • 56-91 heddles per shaft
  • 8- or 12-dent reed
  • 2 boat shuttles + bobbins

Yarn

Warp:  Duet Cotton/Linen, 1,495 yds Pearl. Mallo Cotton Slub, 55 yds Denim.

Weft:  Duet Cotton/Linen, 1,130 yds Pearl. Mallo Cotton Slub, 300 yds Denim.
