Just the thing

I haven’t done this yet, got something else on the go, but wanted this for my niece who likes this style so just the right thing. Am slow at weaving, keep going away in my campervan! Roll on winter and I’ll definitely get this done for her, she will love it.

Elegant and flattering!

I made this top as a birthday gift for my mom, and it was a hit! I will definitely be making one for myself and others. Working with the Duet is dreamy - it weaves up beautifully, wet finishing is easy and the drape is elegant and just gorgeous. The pattern was easy to follow and well written, and I'll admit I was intimidated by hand-sewing aspect, but it was very easy! I used the patterns suggested colors, and I love the way they fade and drift into one another using simple threading sequences - and the placement of the pear colored stripe is quite flattering. My mom was concerned about the length of the top (that it would be too cropped) but it hits at just the right spot. I could see wearing this with white linen pants, a straw hat, sipping a cocktail on a cruise... or with denim and a chunky necklace for a festival... or with pearls and a skirt for a summer event. 10/10 from me!

This is a lovely pattern

I have not woven this yet. I am a XXXL and will need to size it up (sigh). I love its simplicity and I love these yarns and colors. Thank you!
