Episode 75: An Artist Run Weaving Mill with Emily Winter

This week on the podcast Sarah is talking with Emily Winter, the co-founder of The Weaving Mill, an artist-run industrial weaving studio in Chicago. She first connected with Emily when I was looking for a mill with dobby looms to create a batch of fabric for my Jewish prayer shawls. She went to visit her space in Chicago last winter and was blown away by what a wonderful thing she has set up there, merging art, design, production, education, and community engagement. Comment below to keep the conversation going!

This episode was sponsored by Heddlecraft, a digital weaving magazine with the sole objective of sharing the passion for weaving. For more information about Heddlecraft, go to www.heddlecraft.com
