It was so great to get to talk to Rachel Snack for Episode 5 of the podcast. Rachel is the designer and weaver behind Weaver House Co, and the Creative Director at Harrisville Designs. She has a BFA in Fiber & Material Studies from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a Masters of Science in Textile Design from Philadelphia University. In this conversation we discuss what it's like to work as the Creative Director at a historic yarn mill, her experience working for a weaving cooperative in Peru, her advice for new weavers, and so much more.
