Waffle Weave Lap Blanket

I like the waffle weave but I spiced it up a bit by threading shafts 1 and 2 in Mallo "steel" and shafts 3 and 4 in Mallo "natural". This emphasizes the highs and lows in the waffle effect. This could be done with any pair of colours - darker shade for shafts 2 and 3 and lighter shade for shafts 3 and 4. Well worth the effort. It's still on the loom so the waffles aren't very obvious until it's wet finished.

My weaving cotton arrived so quickly- I look forward to starting this project!

Exactly the right weight and size to curl up with a pup on the couch.

I bought this pattern a while ago and just finished my first, of what I'm sure will be many, lap blanket. The instructions were very easy to follow and the end product is truly beautiful! Thank you so much...I love it!
