Good pattern.

Good to weave, but perhaps a different dent size would worked better. The fabric was loose even after a hot water cycle in the washer.

Weaving with 8/2 cotton

I am inexperienced weaving with 8/2 cotton. I used a Cricket loom, and made my own pattern. There is a learning curve, but enjoyed the pattern very much.

Review of Skyline pattern and 2 kits

I like the Gist patterns. Clear instruction. They don't use the typical graphic draft chart that I'm used to, but I think that's great for beginning weavers; one less quirky weaving to learn right away. I've used Check & Stripes Towels and Beginner Towels with Beam and enjoyed both. Plenty of yarn and interesting color combos. I'll be back for more.
