Silk noil, sometimes called raw silk, is a rustic, nubby, matte yarn that weaves into ethereal fabric with a soft hand and exquisite drape. Sero is an easy, consistent yarn to weave with, creating a wonderful experience for both newer and experienced weavers, whether on a rigid heddle or multi-shaft loom.
Enjoyed the finished product as it became soft and drapey. Was annoyed by the static that was caused during weaving on my multi harness loom.
This yarn makes a beautiful leno lace scarf. The colors are intense and the drape is very nice. I love working with this yarn.

I have used the silk noil several times, mostly for scarves and am delighted with the end product. The yarn is very easy to handle and the fabric is lovely.
