Pebbles Scarf

 Designed by Kristina Nichols

Mimicking the small stones or seaglass found on a rocky beach, the Pebbles Scarf is a quick weave utilizing two luxurious colors of Ode. In a bit of wet-finishing magic, what appears as geometric right angled “spots” on the loom, transform into off-set pebble shapes once wet-finished. This 8-shaft scarf pattern has an easy to memorize treadling pattern, and is a great way to get comfortable utilizing two shuttles.Order a kit.

Beautiful result and well-written pattern

I used yarn that I had in my stash and my PPI was way off so I made a cowl instead. I'm thrilled with the result and will be making the scarf with a more appropriately sized yarn.

Glorious yarn and beautiful pattern

This pattern was so great. The Ode yarn is deluxe, and that pattern was a dream to weave. It is also gorgeous now that it is wet finished. The only thing was that my sett was 16 (couldn't get it down to 12 to save my life), so there wasn't enough to finish the length. So I sewed the ends together and turned it into an infinity scarf.

More yarn needed

I wasn’t able to weave this with only one cone of each. I had to get extra of both colors—making this pretty expensive. It is beautiful though
