Love this yarn!!

I’m a fairly new weaver and thought I’d give this yarn a go. It is wonderful to work with and so soft to touch. I can’t wait to finish my scarf and feel it wrapped around my neck! I will be using this yarn again and again. So happy!!

Fantastic

The Ode Alpaca yarn is a treat to weave with. It creates a warm and extremely soft scarf with fantastic drape. This will become my go to yarn for future scarves. I absolutely love this yarn.

Two Scarves with Baby Alpaca on 8 Shafts!

This yarn was a joy to work with! Soft yet strong on the loom. Minimal shrinkage in length and width (~ 5% each direction). The final project has a beautiful drape and light sheen. Patterns used are from Strickler’s “ A Weaver’s Book of 8- Shaft Patterns”; Brighton Honeycomb (p 14, # 21) and “Breaks and recesses” (p 17, # 47). Still working on what to do with those fringes! Christine’s warm demeanor and helpful tips are so very appreciated!

Ode Alpaca feels like a dream

I ordered this yarn for a scarf project. I know that alpaca is usually soft but this yarn feels incredible, It is going to be incredible to weave with and to wear. The color is beautiful as well.
