These graphic towels were inspired by the off-register, vibrating, staccato movement found in Modernist paintings of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The False Damask weave gives the Duet Cotton/Linen an even softer and smoother hand. With a different tie-up, the block threading also lends itself to other variations such as Turned Twill. I love this towel! The design is beautiful, it's easy to warp and weave, and the finished product is very absorbent. I've ordered more of yarn in a new colorway and am tying that warp on to make more of these beauties to give away as gifts. These towels have gotten lots of compliments from my weaving guild friends, where I have shared it.

I'm weaving these towels as a gift for a neighbor; she loves them! The colors are spectacular, the pattern well written, and the weaving is a joy!
