Halvdräll Pillows

Halvdräll Pillows

Designed by Christine Jablonski

This accent pillow pattern explores the possibilities of Halvdräll (an overshot variation with small floats) on an 8 shaft loom. The fronts and backs are woven as one continuous yardage, and sewn into envelope style covers with a few simple seams. With a fully reversible block pattern, you can choose either side to use as your pillow front, or sew one of each. Order a kit.

Beautiful pattern

This is a beautiful pattern. Unfortunately I discovered Halvdrall is a little above my skill level. Used the pattern’s threading but plain weave treadling. The pillows came out great! Will try the halvdrall when I get more experience.
