Dwella is a sturdy 3-ply rug wool sourced from a blend of New Zealand and English Romney sheep, spun and dyed in small batches in North Carolina. It will make beautiful runners, rugs, wall hangings, coasters and trivets, and other home items that ground your space.
I am a rug weaver, and recently ordered several skeins of Dwella in beautiful colors. I love how it weaves up at 5 epi. I have woven a Krokbragd mat and a plain weave rug. I think this will be my go-to yarn for wool rugs.
I used Dwella rug wool as a beginning to my exploration of krokbragd. I found the results were beautiful and the colors inspiring. I look forward to more creations with the colors I’ve chosen.
