Beam 3/4 is a chunky yarn; it works particularly well for pot holders, trivets, placemats, and as overshot pattern weft when paired with its siblings Beam 8/2 and 3/2. It is also a fantastic yarn for knitting and crochet. This new weight comes on 4oz cones, making it easier for you to stock up on more colors

This yarn works beautifully in my rigid heddle loom. I have used it for weaving dish towels and for knitting washcloths. I love the quality and color choices but most of all, I love that it's organic cotton. I appreciate that Gist sources products that consider the environment. Looking forward to trying the Duet , Ode, and Sero yarns soon!
I got this to warp for a small rug and I couldn’t be happier. I really like Beam in all its weights. easy to weave with and gorgeous results.
This is a beautiful yarn! I expected the cone to be full-sized, but it is smaller. I must not have read the specs correctly. Glad I bought 2 cones.
