Agnes Martin Scarf AKA Minimalist Scarf

Love this design and have made it on both a rigid heddle and a 4 shaft loom. Easy to follow pattern. Very pleased with the results and get many compliments when wearing it.

Gorgeous!

I was hesitant to start this scarf as I am a beginner weaver, and the idea of linen in the Duet yarn worried me. Once I actually started, it was fairly easy. I used Duet Pearl, Marble and Storm, and love those colours together. I left out the skip dent technique as I wasn't sure that I understood it. I am very pleased with the look and feel of the scarf.

Lovely

I made this scarf for a xmas present so don’t know her response. It was lovely to weave though I did find I missed doing 1 of the patterns twice. Caught my mistake on the 2nd half. It just was a little shorter. It calls for 15 dent heddle which I can’t get for my Flip. Contacted Christine and she assured me the 12 dent would work just fine. And, it did!

I loved the Diet linen cotton mix! Gist is my favorite place to order weaving yarns. Listen to their podcast, too!

I ❤ Minimalism & Mariah Gaar designs

This pattern is well written and a breeze to follow - like all Gist yarn patterns. Duet is a favorite yarn of mine and I do love the neutral colors. Thank you!
