4-Shaft Technique Trio #2: Cramming and Denting
Technique Trios are designed for weavers who want to dive deep into a technique over a series of patterns. Each collection includes three patterns exploring the same technique from different angles, plus all the yarn you need to weave them.
Our second Technique Trio is designed by Katie Strano, who you may know from her Embossed Towels, Blooming Rose Scarf, and Spring Lace Table Set. This collection explores how a single threading can look completely different by changing the warp and weft setts.
The collection begins with a set of placemats that highlight textural differences between Beam and Mallo as the beat changes over Plain Weave and Twill blocks. The second warp weaves four towels and one runner with three different warp and weft setts. Get ready to have some fun and see how drastically cloth transforms with this simple technique.
