Ric Rac is a term for zigzag braided trim, and used as an accent, offers a perfect solution to the easy/hard dilemma in weaving. Large sections of fast, easy, Plain Weave on a straight eight threading with little breaks of Supplemental Weft color and pattern play keeps boredom at bay, and provides ample opportunity for “bobbin busting” and exploring different color combinations.
