Onward and Upward TowelsDesigned by Jennifer E. Kwong
These asymmetrical towels are created using a modified clasped weft technique (interlocking weft) that facilitates tidy selvedges and takes the guesswork out of the placement of the clasp. This project is woven with a soft cotton slub warp and a crisp cotton/linen weft and is suitable for both rigid heddle and multi-shaft looms. Order a kit.
Great pattern. I liked the variation on the clasped weft.
I learned a new technique with this detailed step-by-step pattern. The photo-tutorial helped me a lot as I am a beginner weaver and a visual weaver. I am using this technique for a scarf I am weaving and recommend this pattern to anyone who wants to incorporate a diagonal, crisp, clean cut-off between colors!
