The perfect staple cotton seine twine warp weaving yarn, on 1 lb. tubes. This yarn is made by Brassard in Quebec, Canada.
Comes in 2 sizes:. #12 is 4/12/2, 1,260 yards per lb. approx. 22 wraps per inch. (This is the size we recommend with our Array tapestry yarn, and the size used in Rebecca Mezoff's Introduction to Tapestry Weaving Beginner Bundle.)
Received as part of the tapestry weaving bundle and have already come across 4 knots in the cotton seine.
Twine #12 works great with Array yarn. Easy to use as warp
As a tapestry instructor, I strongly recommend using cotton seine twine for tapestry weaving especially for beginners. It is very strong and behaves nicely in tapestries of all sizes. This warp is constructed a little differently than the Swedish warp I most often use, but it works just as well. The 12s size is great for setts of 8 epi or less and the 6s is a thicker warp for wider setts or a more prominent warp rib. This warp is a great option for tapestry weaving! Thanks for carrying it!
Using for warp... nice feel and adds a polished touch to the weave...
This worked wonderfully for my tapestry work!
