I got a 24” rigid heddle loom and have used it a lot. It’s fantastic but too big to do samples on. The 10” one is perfect for sampling and making scarves. I got a couple of extra heddles so I can do double weaving as well. A real gem of a little loom so far. I made my first plaid on it and it came out perfectly..now I can make it on my larger loom with confidence

I ordered five Ashford Sample It Looms to teach a weaving class from Gist and they arrived within very quickly. I am always delighted with the speedy shipping Gist Yarn provides. The Sample It loom fit the needs of all the students I was teaching. The biggest frustration was I had to build them all first. I did like the instruction booklet that came with the loom as, along with how to build it, it had weaving instructions and how to use two heddles. Good for the students to have.
I am a brand new weaver. I spent months researching looms, and this is the one I chose. I love everything about this loom. It is beautiful, easy to assemble, and very portable (I even took it to the beach). Just one warning: once you start weaving on this loom, you will be addicted. I sure am! Everything about using this loom is so fun and relaxing. Plus, you can make beautiful gifts for your friends (and yourself). I highly recommend it.
