I've made towels, blankets and a scarf with this. Everything washes up to be soft and warm in the case of blankets & scarves and also absorbent when used for towels. I just love this lichen color.
For my most recent project (scarf/wrap), I mixed it in the warp with Gist Yarn linen. It's a great blend of soft and crisp.
My husband’s nephew will be getting married soon and, since they are established in a home, they have many items we would normally give them. What better than a hand made table runner? I am sure they will like it, and I think it will be special. I used mallo with linen duet accents.
This yarn weaves up easily and adds an extra dimension to the finished project. Recommended with no reservations. Wish there were more colors!
Bought one of every color available before the price increase. So glad I did! Have used it for pillows, towels and placemats. On rigid heddle and four harness floor loom. Love it’s feel and looks in the different applications, especially in overshot. Highly recommend to others.
Mallo is ideal for dish or hand towels. It combines with the many colors of Beam, or other Mallo, to create beautiful, soft, absorbent towels.
