This simple set of Plain Weave towels uses a playful, randomized pinstripe warp. Changing the weft color for each towel makes each one different and keeps the weaving fresh and fun. Order a kit.

90 heddles per shaft for 4-shaft loom, 45 heddles per shaft for 8-shaft loom
12-dent reed
1 boat shuttle + bobbins or 1 stick shuttle

Warp: Beam8/2 Organic Cotton, 425 yds in Crocus, 425 yds in Natural, 425 yds in Elderberry, 425 yds in Dawn.
Weft: Beam 8/2 Organic Cotton, 275 yds in Crocus, 395 yds in Natural, 305 yds in Elderberry, 405 yds in Dawn.

Towels were easy to warp up, flexible for yarn colour choices. Very popular with our guild as a studio project. The threading diagram on page 3 of the draft seems to indicate the yarn colours go in a specific sequence but this is clarified later in step 1 “random colour order”. Thanks!

Wonderful Stash busting Design!!
