Dwella is a sturdy 3-ply rug wool, developed around a sense of warmth, comfort, and grounding associated with our homes and most cherished spaces. It will make beautiful runners, rugs, wall hangings, coasters and trivets, and other home items that ground your space.

Dwella is a chunky wool yarn specifically designed for rug weaving. It's thick, durable, and produces dense, hardwearing rugs and tapestry pieces. It works well on both frame looms and multi-shaft floor looms.

We recommend a sett between 4 and 8, depending on your desired rug density and weave structure. This is for your warp - Dwella is meant to be the weft.

While Dwella is designed primarily for rugs, it also works well for chunky wall hangings, pillows, and other home decor items where a thick, sturdy fabric is desired.

Dwella Rug Wool is purpose-built for rug weaving. It's thick, durable, and holds up to foot traffic. For the warp, use a strong cotton, linen, or wool rug warp yarn. Sett your rug warp at 4–8 EPI and pack the Dwella weft firmly for a dense, hardwearing surface.
