Duet combines the ease of weaving with cotton with the sheen and hand of linen. The subtle variegation in the linen adds a slightly marbled visual element to projects. Buttery and smooth on a multi-shaft loom, this yarn is also a wonderful introduction to linen for rigid heddle weavers who have a few projects under their belts. Duet weaves into beautiful summer scarves and shawls, as well as heirloom-quality towels and dining linens that soften and improve over time.

Beautiful yarn

I’m almost done with the scarf using the Duet. So easy to weave with and the combination is cotton and linen gives it a beautiful feel.

weaving with Duet

Weaving with Duet can be a bit tricky as the tension can change as you go along. That said, this particular yarn was fine and caused no issues. I’ve had other colors of Duet break in the warp and some “get too loose” but this warped and wove with no issues.

Beautiful look and feel

This yarn worked great for a dishtowel project on my baby wolf. The towels are pretty and functional! It did seem to be a bit fragile - my floating selvedge frayed a bit.
