Episode 28: Contextualizing Textiles with LaChaun Moore

I’m thrilled to welcome and introduce you to LaChaun Moore, our new Weave Podcast Producer. LaChaun earned her BFA at Parsons, The New School For Design as an integrated design major with a focus on alternative fashion strategies and social practice. Since Graduating in the class of 2017, she moved to Low Country South Carolina to pursue her dream of starting a farm to table textile enterprise.

LaChaun is an artist and weaver, an entrepreneur, a farmer, and so much more, and I’m excited to have her on the podcast today, and to have her producing the podcast for us. In our conversation, we talk about what inspired her to start her fiber and dye farm, and what to look forward to in her farming future . Comment below to continue the conversation!
