Beam 8/2 is a workhorse yarn you’ll reach for again and again, ideal for towels, table linens and lightweight scarves or shawls. It is wonderful for traditional twill structures and as the ground and tabby yarn in overshot when paired with Beam 3/2 or 3/4.

Love It!

Beam is my favorite yarn for weaving! Soft, but not too soft, and has a great texture. I usually use 3/4, but love 8/2, also. Yarn seems consistent in texture from tube to tube, which isn't the case with some popular yarns.
