Array is a thin, but sturdy worsted spun yarn that makes wonderful home decor items such as wall hangings, pillow covers and throws, and can also be combined with softer yarns such as Ode alpaca for garments.
Each of the colors from Gist’s Array wool yarn are beautiful. The full range of a color family is very helpful in working gradations of colors in tapestry. The colorline of Array is astonishing. There are 5-6 of each color line which can also be twisted together to create more depth of color. I am very pleased with weaving with this yarn also. It is strong and doesn’t fray. A very versatile yarn.

I use array yarn exclusively for my tapestries. I like that there are so many colors and shades to fit my needs.
I used Array wool sett at 24 EPI to weave and then sew an Irish Cap for my son and granddaughter. The Array behaved so beautifully on my loom. I also use Array for tapestry weaving.
