Wove the skip dent scarf in coral on my Kromski rigid heddle loom. Came out beautifully. Finished with a soft, subtle texture. Weaving with quality yarn is so satisfying, even mistakes can look good!
I’m new to the world of weaving so loaded up on some cheaper yarns for my learning curve. After I felt confident in what I was doing, I ordered some of the Duet Linen/Cotton yarn and was very pleased with my first piece off the loom using this yarn. The palette of colors are rich and beautiful and I love the texture, very different from my “learning” yarns. I will order more of this for future pieces.
I had a little left on Duet cones of Cerise, Chambray, Santorini, and Dusk so I decided to play on the loom with no plan. The beautiful quality of this yarn turned my play into one of my favorite infinity scarves. Duet is easy to work with and has a nice feel. The colors are yummy!!
I love this fiber!! It works up without any problems - have made several items using this. The Deflected Doubleweave scarf from Gist patterns being one - it turned out perfect! Used also for a table runner which turned out good. It is a dream to work with, no breakage and easy warping.
This yarn is very forgiving for a relatively new weaver. I had a little trouble with breakage on the edges, but the end product blocked nicely. The more i wear this scarf the softer and more beautiful it will become.
