Weekend rug/color fire.

I’m in the process of warping the rug. Warp cotton is good quality and I’m looking forward to weaving with the wool. I was disappointed with the color (I realize screen color can’t always be accurate) as the yarn looked a bright fuchsia color and in reality is maroon/brown.

Great first project

I bought this kit on a recent visit from Australia to the US to visit my family in Seattle. (Free Postage was a bonus) Yesterday I warped up my new rigid heddle loom for its first project and wove the floor mat using the kit. The colour is beautiful - I got the blue one. So happy with it!

Excellent!

Just finished this rug, and I am absolutely DELIGHTED with the outcome. Instructions were straightforward, and easy to follow...which says a lot, as this was only the second project I have done on my new floor loom. The tapestry wool from Mountain Meadow wove into a beautiful subtle mix of blue hues that really does look stunning. Super happy with quality of products! Accidentally warped more than was required, and had some other colors of Mountain Meadows Tapestry Wool in my stash, so I used my extra warp to make a cute striped mini door mat (no fringe) too! Highly recommend.

Great kit!

I made this last month for my daughter's new house. I set the warp a little closer (10 epi) so the weft wouldn't completely hide the warp. I also alternated sections of gray and navy warp threads, inspired by the Pendleton rug in Tom Knisely's Weaving Rag Rugs book. The materials were great to work with and made a lovely rug.
