Beautiful, fun yarn

I'm currently weaving the chevron towels in this yarn and I love it. The subtle slub adds just enough texture to make simple weaves extra interesting and it has withstood being warped really well.

lovely yarn, color too dark

yarn is great to work with; weaves easily. Midnight is very dark blue and reads as black in many color combinations. I wish there was a dark blue that wasn't so dark.

Beautiful yarn and amazing customer service!

Full disclosure -- I purchased this yarn for a knitting project. I am creating a lace weight shawl for my soon to be daughter in law and I was looking for the perfect color and yarn for this special project. I came across this beautiful Italian cotton linen blend and felt the color was just what the bride was looking for. However, it is so hard to discern color and feel of yarn on a computer screen. And that's where the amazing staff of Gist came to the rescue! Christine so kindly answered all of my many questions about "shades of wine" as well as the weight of each yarn. When the yarn arrived, the bride was thrilled with the color and I love the feel. The pattern has been chosen and the swatch has been knitted and blocked to gauge. And the knitting of what I hope will be a family heirloom will soon begin. I am so happy that I literally stumbled upon Gist through its podcast. As a new customer I couldn't be happier. And now my old loom is being dusted off and a list of weaving projects is filling my journal! Thank you Christine and all of the kind folks who have created such a supportive and happy space.
