I warped my loom with this yarn for the wrapping cloths pattern, and so far I have had 6 broken warp threads. I'm not even 1/4 of the way done with this project and I keep having to replace warp threads. I love the these colors, but I probably won't be using this yarn for warp again, and I bought 6 cones.
I’m currently weaving the Overshot Rigid Heddle Dishtowels from Gist, using this doubled in the weft (12.5 dent). It is a dream to work with. I couldn’t be happier. Color is exactly as shown in the picture.
I love working with cottolin. The towels last for years. My problem was that it shreds and hard to get a clean shed. It seems to be mainly the clementine; don't have nearly the problem with other colors. Advancing often helps. Except for that problem, love your products.
This yarn is so great for so many items! I am looking forward to making some kitchen towels with it. I did make a lovely shawl in the slate color, using some linen in my stash for the warp and the cotton/linen as weft. It is light and airy, perfect for the summer months. I highly recommend!
